Ro Kumar helped his brother to convert their home into a sustainable farm. Ro writes about the food, health, urban farming, and entrepreneurship. He continues to learn at UC Berkeley and Stanford.

Liz Yarwood is a freelance cinematographer. After receiving a B.A. from Bard College, she spent a year living in France where she developed a passion for local food.  She has an M.F.A. in Film Production from USC.

Davey‘s interest in growing his own food at home led him to learn from local experts. He manages a blog focused on fermentation and food preservation called Farmentation. Check out his fan page.

Carrie Stiles is a scholar, writer, and photographer. She has traveled and studied in over 30 countries on 5 continents. Carrie earned an M.A. in Conflict Resolution from Portland State University.

Rishi Kumar created The Growing Home along with Ro. He learned organic farming techniques while helping to build farms in San Diego and India. He frequently posts recipes, how-to’s, and health tips.

Dr. Lisa Hollingsworth Upshaw is a holistic acupuncturist and chiropractor who practices functional nutrition. She enjoys blogging to inspire and be inspired for healthy living. See her website and fan page.
